1. Overview

Oncode is an educational platform designed to help users learn software engineering through hands-on projects. Users can explore structured text-based lessons, complete real-world coding projects, and submit Git repositories for automated evaluation and feedback.

2. Eligibility

To use Oncode, you must:
  • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country)
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
If you use Oncode on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.

3. Account Registration

You may register using:
  • Your GitHub account
  • Your Google account
  • Any other authentication methods provided by Oncode
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. User Content and Submissions

When submitting a project:
  • You retain ownership of the code you submit
  • By submitting, you grant Oncode a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to clone, run, and evaluate your code for educational purposes
  • You confirm that you have the rights to submit the code and that it does not infringe upon any third-party rights
  • Your profile (including stats such as the number of submissions, completed projects, and courses) may be publicly visible to other users.
We may store logs, results, and metadata related to your submissions to provide feedback, analytics, and support.

5. Code Execution and Testing

All submitted code will be:
  • Cloned from your repository
  • Executed in a sandboxed environment
  • Evaluated against predefined tests
We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or completeness of our automated testing system.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
  • Upload or submit malicious, harmful, or illegal code or content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Reverse engineer or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
  • Use Oncode to train or test malicious agents or bots

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Oncode — including lessons, UI, and branding — is the property of Oncode or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if:
  • You breach these Terms
  • We suspect abuse or fraudulent activity
  • Required by law or due to platform maintenance/security
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Disclaimer

Oncode is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees that:
  • The platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Evaluation results are definitive or correct
  • Your learning outcomes will meet specific expectations
Use Oncode at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oncode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising out of your use of the Platform.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after any changes means you accept the updated Terms.
